  • Vik,
The rain is pouring down. I brought your little sister to Hamilton yesterday and returned today. The White Mountains were swathed in clouds of fog and I almost expected it to snow!! The ride was beautiful but 10 hours too long. I had to pull over in VT. for a nap. I spent the night in her room and kissed her goodbye at 7:30 am. I know she is ready to be back and I know she will prosper. Leah is still here but about to leave any day. I am/am not looking foward the quiet they leave behind. Have you felt any earthquake activity? I have been reading some Samoan blogs from your PCV comarades and they have talked about rumblings. I remember standing in a playground in San Fransisco in the wee hours of the morning and feeling the earth move under my feet. It's a queer feeling. You must be in your new village by now. How is it going? I have a box about to go out to you.
    Love to you. Mom
