SOCCER PROGRAM for the TAMAITI
Before Christmas, just after school break, i set up a week long soccer camp for the year 5-8 kids. We got together in the evening when chores were done and it wasn't so hot, and do some drills until the attention spans were gone and then scrimmaged. Huge success!
So, I've sent over a letter to the Samoan Soccer Federation and FIFA asking for support, equipment and logistics. Hopefully a mini league can be set up between some villages close by, and I'll keep up with the camps now that school is starting up again.
I'm really excited, not only about playing, but also to offer the kids a constructive way to spend time, work on teamwork, and leadership skills. Just need some balls, nets, and kids!!

whats up its dru how are things in somoa, things in newton are going pretty well, i made the basketball team. the j.v almost picked me up but i think they thought i was to small. so i am on the freshman team which was still pretty hard to make because they ran us so much that about 50% of the kids who tried out threwup on the court. and about 50% of the kids who tried out got cut witch was like 18. I am either starting or the first of the bench for most games i have been getting like 10to 15 points a game but i dont start some times cus my d blows b ut the coach is working on it with me and i have improved alot. And are team is sick we are 5-1. if you havent heard yet the eagles have lost to the saints but they had a along run.also your boy iverson got traded to the nuggets. Alot has happened in newton this 1/2 year and i cant wait for you to get back so i can dunk on you, and hustle those ballers we met at that playground not that we already didnt.
peace out dude hope to cya soon
