Swimming with the Turtles
Thanks for the Birthday wishes!!! So kind! I'm being taken care of very well here on this "special" day. Indian food and a few beverages are in order....its nice to be appreciated sometimes.
A few weeks ago Sarah, Jordan, and I took a little bike ride to see a tourist attraction (something we usually stay away from) called Swimming Turtles to check out what all the fuss is a about. Fuss in this situation includes both positives and negatives. It is an amazing opportunity to see and interact with sea turtles but just like the zoo they are captives and this doesn't allow them to follow their natural life flow, breeding, migration, diet, habitat, etc.
Negatives aside, as you can see, it was pretty cool. Imagine this with goggles on!!!!

Vik,
We all just came from Auntie Rosie's church for Christmas Mass. Leah whispered "Will we hear from Vik?" and just then the trumpet sounded from the balcony and we knew it was you. We love you and hope you are feeling better. Remember Christmas is in your heart everyday of the year.Next year we hope to be there with you!!!Sound like a plan?
Yesterday, on our ride here, Leah and I were making up a song, (with our splendiforous guitar accompanyment of course)and it was mostly about you...we really miss you one this first christmas apart from eachother...and are thinking of you every second! Melakalikimaka!
